I first tried with TPO debian repo and installed it with apt.
Included `%include /etc/tor/torrc.d` to /etc/tor/torrc. Starting and restarting did work and include the files, but reloading makes tor fail with the same message from building tor from source (https://www.torproject.org/download/tor/)
```sh
./configure && sudo make && sudo make install
```
```
$ sudo -u debian-tor tor --torrc-file /usr/local/etc/tor/torrc
So using the package and restarting does work, but reload does not. Building from source does not even start tor if including another directory to be read.https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/tpa/team/-/issues/40509Website files not being deleted by static-shim2021-11-10T20:27:27ZJérôme Charaouilavamind@torproject.orgWebsite files not being deleted by static-shimI'm not 100% certain of this but opening an issue so we make sure to check. I use that feature on various Windows systems (7, 8, 10) with the [OmniMix TorIP](https://danner-net.de/omom/tutortorplusip.htm) module, mainly to retrieve my office's dynamic IP address from abroad through a hidden service, kind of a DDNS substitute without having to rely on a 3rd party provider.David Gouletdgoulet@torproject.orgDavid Gouletdgoulet@torproject.orghttps://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/tpa/team/-/issues/40487Debug terminal access on sponsor-61-sims gitlab jobs?2021-10-28T19:06:56ZMike PerryDebug terminal access on sponsor-61-sims gitlab jobs?@hiro and I used to have access to the Debug button on running jobs in https://gitlab.torproject.org/jnewsome/sponsor-61-sims/-/pipelines, but about 2 weeks ago we both lost access. @jnewsome still has this Debug terminal button.
Is this related to the env scrubbing we did around that time, or some other change?anarcatanarcathttps://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/applications/tor-browser/-/issues/40666Switching svg.disable affects NoScript settings2021-12-07T10:27:40ZYetiSwitching svg.disable affects NoScript settingsWhen svg.disabled is switched to "off", NoScript-settings are completely changed unwantedly. Thus, we'd like to have a machine (or maybe we need two different ones) where we can run two non-exit relays on. @dgoulet and @gk should have access to those (or maybe something like network-health group where both of us belong to might make more sense, dunno).
@dgoulet will provide some specs, so we can get that task actually going. :)anarcatanarcathttps://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/ux/design/-/issues/29Tracing on Tor Browser's application icon is not continuous and path is broke...2023-06-28T14:19:56ZirelativismTracing on Tor Browser's application icon is not continuous and path is broken upThe tracing of the path on the main TorBrowser logo is not a continuos path
It would be easy to say that the "new UX for connecting to tor" is to blame[1], but my experience says it just made the bug apparent.
