This ...To improve our HS integration tests as part of `make test-network-all` we should make a network template similar to `hs` etc. where the HS is client-auth-protected, and the client needs to use the client auth token to submit data.
This might be a bit of a hurdle to setup, since we would need to first start up the HS, so that it generates the client auth tokens, and then we would need to hax the client torrc to make it happen.https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/applications/tor-browser/-/issues/41331Create horizontal logo lockup for the privacy browser2022-12-17T15:22:42ZdonutsCreate horizontal logo lockup for the privacy browserOnce an application icon has been created in https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/applications/tor-browser/-/issues/41168, we'll need to add some logotype reading "Mullvad Browser" to create a full logo lockup. The logotype and rough composition should match that used by the Mullvad VPN, i.e.:
- [MullvadVPN_logo_Landscape_RGB_BW_positive](/uploads/83dcc140441b04f3f4eef226ae638ee4/MullvadVPN_logo_Landscape_RGB_BW_positive.png)

The full lockup will likely be used on the successor to `about:tor` (pending its design), the Mullvad website, in release posts and social media/promotional posts. However, we'll need separate assets for the `About > Browser` window, i.e.:

It would be great if we could turn these persons into user-facing docs.
For starters, I transcribed the personas into the following usecases with an additional one.
1. **Tor Browser and/or Mobile Tor Browser as a Super Private Browsing Mode (new!):** I am a regular internet user (without any censorship) who wants to protect their privacy while visiting some websites. For example, I might use the Tor Browser to search about medical conditions or to access websites that are only accessible via their onion services (like the Tor Browser Nightly download page.)
2. **Tor Browser as a Main Browser:** Alex, the fearless journalist and Fernanda, the feminist activist want this.
3. **Tor Browser With a Bridge as a Main Browser:** Fatima, the censored user and Jelani, the human rights defender want this.
4. **Mobile Tor Browser as a Main Browser:** Aleisha, the privacy looker wants this.
We might also want to add Tails to this.
### Random Academic Motivation
In Section 4.5 [Why Doesn’t Jane Protect Her Privacy?](https://petsymposium.org/2014/papers/Renkema.pdf), Renaud, Volkamer, and Renkema-Padmos notice that a lot of users understand that their privacy is at stake but don't see a clear way to use E2E encryption (this is pre-usability, this is the user deciding to use the application and picking where to use it, as opposed to using it). While the paper is dated and E2E has become more mainstream since 2014, I think Tor is the new E2E, where clear guidance on how to use it could be helpful with adoption.https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/community/support/-/issues/40008Create Guides for Diverse Usecases of the Tor Browser Inspired by Personas2023-02-02T19:25:38ZsankethCreate Guides for Diverse Usecases of the Tor Browser Inspired by PersonasThe [2019 Tor Personas](https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/ux/research/-/blob/master/persona/2019%20Tor%20Persona.pdf) outline diverse threat models and how the Tor Browser can be used in each of those models. The command line also works in OSX and Windows, so why not include those?
