Iteration with our websites and automate our localization process. We want to iterate with our sites specially the user support site to include forums to discuss our articles. And incorporate a tool to automatically extract strings from training materials as well as automate other steps of our localization process of websites. So we can expand the program’s reach.

Incorporate training materials created by our partners into our Community Portal (https://community.torproject.org) in order to cover more diverse use cases with the digital trainings available to the broader community.

Conduct different types of user research a) learn from human rights defenders about changes in context (political and because of the pandemic) and how they are related to technologies and human rights defenders; b) learn about human rights defenders’ challenges and needs that are outside of the scope of this project and produce recommendations for funders; and c) produce user experience research and apply necessary changes to Tor Browser.

Continue providing digital security training to our partners and their contacts as well as supporting any partner that is conducting the training themselves. We also aim to build more collaboration between partners to nurture a strong network that can support each other.
