QDir doesn't appear to be able to resolve paths like "~/.tor", but it does 

have a QDir::homePath(). So, I use that to build default log locations, but
it'd be nice if we could figure out how to resolve relative paths like that.
Justin, you'll have to check if the default path works and is sane on Windows.
