(Of course the same could be done also with the "New identity" command)

Test page
http://sid.rstack.org/blog/index.php/567-chasse-au-lapin
1. Create a fresh Firefox profile -> video OK
2. Install HTTPS-E 3.0.4 (or 4.0dev2), restart -> video FAIL
All following actions are performed via HTTPS-E toolbar icon menu.
3. Disable HTTPS-E "Vimeo" Ruleset -> video OK
4. Enable HTTPS-E "Vimeo" Ruleset -> video FAIL
As expected so far: the "Vimeo" rule might need a correction for such type of embedded videos (since it says « Sorry -- There was an error encountered while loading this video. »), however this is not the issue I am reporting here :b
5. Disable HTTPS-E as a whole -> video **FAIL**
This was unexpected.
Expected : video OK
6. Restart browser (HTTPS-E still "Disabled") -> video OK.
7. Enable HTTPS-E as a whole -> video FAIL
8. Disable HTTPS-E "Vimeo" Ruleset -> video OK
9. Enable HTTPS-E "Vimeo" Ruleset -> video FAIL
As expected so far again.
Then to confirm the present issue:
10. Disable HTTPS-E as a whole -> video **FAIL**
This was unexpected, as previously.
Expected: video OK
So, the ruleset seems to keep being applied until browser restart, despite HTTPS-E being set to "Disabled".
NB. ticket set to trac Version "HTTPS-E 4.0dev1" since I can't find any "HTTPS-E 3.0.4" or "HTTPS-E 4.0dev2" in the list.

For some reason, this prevents the menu from appearing when I click on the Torbutton icon (the menu which contains "Toggle Tor status"). If I enable the (empty) Navigation Toolbar, the menu appears fine, but I would naturally prefer not to need to do this since it takes up screen space.
Is there a better workaround/is the menu supposed to be necessary to turn Tor on and off?
Thanks

After installing torbutton simple GUI modifications disappear (sometimes only on after additional firefox windows are opened). Disabling, or uninstalling, torbutton restores them. See attached JPG screenshot.
EX: By right-clicking on the toolbars in Firefox, and selecting "Customize", I have moved the location of the "Bookmarks Toolbar" to be on the same bar as the File, and Edit menus. I have also added a few other buttons (like open new Window) to be between the URL bar/box and the Search box. After installing torbutton and restarting firefox these disappear. Even if the customizations are added to the new "blank" window, they do not survive for any additional windows or restarting firefox. Only the first window that was launched has the customizations.
Have created new profiles, and the same thing happens even with clean profile, as soon as torbutton is installed. Disabling or uninstalling torbutton restores the customizations.

The buttons are also missing if a "restart" of Firefox is performed (as opposed to closing and restarting Firefox which does not cause the problem). It does not matter if you actually choose to display the Torbutton status in the toolbar or not for this to happen, and icons in the status bar are not affected. Disabling Torbutton results in the icons appearing in all Firefox windows. This behavior is also caused independently by the Ubuntu add-on Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.9rc2 and I have reported it to them as well. However, either of these add-ons causes this behavior alone and it does not appear to be an interaction between the two.
