Torbutton causes "XML Parsing Error: undefined entity"

Firstly, apologies if this is the wrong place for Torbutton bug reports. I see advice to "select the Torbutton project on this tracker", but can find no such button.

Anyway, when I navigate to any xhtml strict page which has any non-numerical entities (e.g.  ), I recieve the error page "XML Parsing Error: undefined entity" when torbutton is enabled. When it tor is turned off from it, or the addon is disabled, I have no such problems. Also, if the addon is disabled and I manually enable the tor proxy settings, I do not experience any problems. I guess this is something to do with torbutton disallowing access to an external file to find the meaning of entities.

This behaviour can be seen for example when trying to access the page http://git.goodpoint.de/?p=beamer-theme-matrix.git , which causes the following errorpage:

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity Location: http://git.goodpoint.de/?p=beamer-theme-matrix.git Line Number 41, Column 20:

-------------------!^

This behaviour has been present for a while, I think since the first Firefox 3 release (maybe before), and is present for me with release 3.0.11. I'm currently running a stable and up-to-date x86 gentoo.
