"AOL (partial)" breaks Engadget image

Most of Engadget works fine, also images. But I only noticed first when visiting this page: http://www.engadget.com/2014/01/08/gemini-planet-imager-photographs-alien-worlds-in-just-a-minute/ With "AOL (partial)" ruleset loaded, the main article image doesn't load: http://o.aolcdn.com/hss/storage/adam/c4695416fdd0f46c69c95b5f4be2c3b3/gemini-photo-of-hr4796a.jpg The SSL certificate of this hostname is invalid, it belongs to akamai hostnames. I also tested the latest git rulesets for AOL and Engadget, but that doesn't help.

Note, I use version 3.4.5 but that's not selectable in the ticket form.
