nvidia.com redirects to a broken akami cookie page

FF 27.0 / HTTPS Everwhere 4.0 dev 15

load nvidia.com. This redirects to 'https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/1650/3297/9h/www.nvidia.com/content/global/global.php'. If I click 'USA/Canada', I get redirected to 'https://a248.e.akamai.net/content/global/cookie.php?lang=US', which is a broken page saying:

Invalid URL The requested URL "/content/global/cookie.php?lang=US", is invalid.

Reference REMOVED

workaround is to disable akamai ruleset
