Please create new virtual host collector.torproject.org on yatei

As announced on tor-dev@, I'd like to separate the data-collecting part from the graph-presenting part of the Metrics Portal.

In particular, the data-collecting part shall be available under https://collector.torproject.org/ and the graph-presenting part under https://metrics.torproject.org/. There will be links to the new website from the current Metrics Portal for quite a while.

For now, this doesn't require many changes from the admin side. Here's what I think needs to be done:

  • Create a DNS entry collector.torproject.org and point it to yatei.

  • Create a new directory /srv/collector.torproject.org/ that the metrics user has full access to. I'm going to run a Java application that will live in /srv/collector.torproject.org/collector/.

  • Add an Apache vhost to serve /srv/collector.torproject.org/web/ (or www/, or whatever you'd like to call that subdirectory) as https://collector.torproject.org/. There will be no Tomcat in this case, just Apache.
