Apple iOS IPSW downloads broken on Akamai

Trying to access the Apple iOS firmware IPSW links (for other links see ipsw.me):

http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS8.1/031-09018.20141020.FTd5f/iPad3,1_8.1_12B410_Restore.ipsw

With HTTPS-E redirects to

https://a248.e.akamai.net/7/248/51/20120908/appldnld.apple.com/iOS8.1/031-09018.20141020.FTd5f/iPad3,1_8.1_12B410_Restore.ipsw

Which gives:

An error occurred while processing your request.
Reference #30.c5ce93f.1416256923.c61773a

Disabling HTTPS-E fixes it.
