The Wowhead model viewer code, when forced to load from https://wow.zamimg.com/, will still try to load additional resources from http://wow.zamimg.com (model data via json, etc) and get CORS errors.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
