Using Gitian on the LXC machine is broken (after upgrade to 14.04)

Trying to start a Tor Browser build on the LXC machine results in something like

    --- Building utils-linux for lucid amd64 ---
Stopping target if it is up
    Making a new image copy
sudo: unable to resolve host XX-XX-XXX-XXX
    Starting target
Checking if target is upsudo: unable to resolve host XX-XX-XXX-XXX
sudo: unable to resolve host XX-XX-XXX-XXX
    Preparing build environment
sudo: unable to resolve host XX-XX-XXX-XXX
    passwd: password expiry information changed.
sudo: unable to resolve host XX-XX-XXX-XXX
bash: cannot set terminal process group (-1): Inappropriate ioctl for device
bash: no job control in this shell
To run a command as administrator (user "root"), use "sudo <command>".
    See "man sudo_root" for details.
  • hanging lxc processes doing lxc-start -n gitian -f var/lxc.config -- sudo -u ubuntu -i -- setarch x86_64 bash
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
