Failure of start of tor during start of tor-browser causes creation of Browser.bak in directory without any explanation

If tor fails to start during start of tor-browser a directory Browser.bak is created next to Browser without any feedback why this directory is created and what it purpose is. It'd make sense to display a dialog after the directory is detected which explains what the state of the application is and what the user can do with Browser.bak (delete, replace Browser in cause of failure (which?), fetch settings, ...).

experienced with tor-browser 6.0.1
