Allow extension installation in Thunderbird

With extensions that enable browsing (e.g. WAT, ThunderBrowse) HTTPS Everywhere can be useful in Thunderbird, too.

I've attached a patch to allow installation in Thunderbird. So far the code works without further modifications (note: I'm using WAT).
