update metrics-lib tutorials for major version release

Metrics-lib 2.0.0 includes some changes that should be visible in the tutorials, mainly #22196 (moved) and possibly more from the two prior releases.

Steps:

• identify changes for tutorials
• adapt the tutorials
• identify topics for new tutorials
• add new topics

The current tutorials are available here (tutorial 1, tutorial 2, tutorial 3).
