Default browser in Ubuntu doesn't work properly
When I set tor as the default browser, and click on a link in another application (e.g. Thunderbird), the tab doesn't open. I can use the tor browser properly, and a corresponding onion logo appears in Ubuntu's launcher when I do. With tor set as default, when you click a link, you can see another blue world logo, also labeled tor browser, briefly appear in the launcher before closing without ever displaying the page.
my /etc/apt/sources.list includes this:
$ dpkg -l tor tor-browser Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
