We could use an IRC bot to interact with our "/me status:" messages

In the network team, we've started using IRC messages of the form /me status: opening a bunch of tickets to keep trac of what we're doing day to day. It would be cool to have something to keep track of them for us.

It would be best if this were done on an opt-in basis: nobody should have their IRC logged without their consent.

It might be nice to have some feature to remind you to do this if you haven't done so on a regular day, but that could easily become obnoxious.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have admin enable hashed storage. More information
