Music streaming stopped working in update to 8.0, 8.0.1

A radio streaming website that used to work in pre tor 8.0, now no longer works. The stream will start and go for a few seconds - maybe 20 seconds - then the stream will end. The specific site this issue occurs at (haven't tested others) is wmot.org.
