rpm package building

We need someone to do the following: 0) maintain RPM spec files in a git repo

1. automate building RPMs with something (buildbot?)
2. test the packages built; if problems, return to 0)
3. allow users to use these automated packages

I suggest marlowe, if he's up for it.
