Can we install the extension in compressed .xpi form?
That would save a few hundred kilobytes of disk space and startup IO by keeping default.rulesets compressed, and also reduce our number of files somewhat.
Alternatively, just making default.rulesets into default.rulesets.gz would help too.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
