metrics user graphs have huge std dev spikes

https://metrics.torproject.org/users.html?graph=direct-users&start=2010-12-01&end=2012-09-24&country=sy&events=on&dpi=300#direct-users for example has a huge spike in the std dev graph, making the actual black line not so obvious, and the graph not so useful for presentations.

What's the fix? Do we chop off the graph at a certain point?

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
