When multiple `SocksPort` options are written in Vidalia's `torrc` dialog window, only the last one is actually written to disk.
Vidalia, at least on Mac OS X, discards all but the last SocksPort option if more than one of them are written in the dialog window that appears when a user clicks on "Edit current torrc".
