Can't save pdf
Search in start-page that brings up pdfs. E.g.: object oriented design reading list host:edu
Click on a link, e.g. http://condor.depaul.edu/dmumaugh/OOT/bibliography.pdf
Tor browser tells me, helpfully:
" An external application is needed to handle:
http://condor.depaul.edu/dmumaugh/OOT/bibliography.pdf
NOTE: External applications are NOT Tor safe by default and can unmask you!
If this file is untrusted, you should either save it to view while offline or in a VM, or consider using a transparent Tor proxy like Tails LiveCD or torsocks. "
But if you do as it suggests - and "If this file is untrusted, you should either save it to view" - you get the same error again.
I.e. Right click > Save As...
Causes the same message to come up, saying you should save the file if you want to read it safely. But of course I can't save the file.
Now seeing as Tor advised me not to install software to read the file, I'm not likely to install that same software just to download the file, because then the software would be active for reading online as well.
Tor tells me it is version: Firefox ESR 17.0.6
