vidalia was unable to connect to tor connection refused by peer

Worked fine at the beginning and then started to get this message :vidalia was unable to connect to tor connection refused by peer,I get it while its connecting to tor.The message log doesn't show anything its completely blank.Tried installing again and its the same problem.Checked my firewall and tor is listed and when I look up ports with currports tor ports are red and I don't know what does that mean.Help plss!!!
