# Why TBB is Firefox and no other browser

TorBrowser is a modified Firefox specifically designed for anonymity. 
Unfortunately, no other browser today is suitable for the modifications
required. We're working with the Chrome team to fix some problems in Chrome so
it will be possible to write a Torbutton or make a TorBrowser from Chrome.
