The purpose of this Sponsor Z list is to collect our non-sponsor-driven projects in a single place. There are projects that we deem important, but that are difficult to raise funds for. And there are urgent projects that we should work on, but that we shouldn't have to find funds for first. These projects go on this sponsor Z page and get a priority assigned to help select which ones need funding and/or volunteer attention the most.

They are designed to be non-trivial and require resources we do not have today; whether financial to hire people or dedicated volunteers willing to tackle a hard problem. There is no timeline for beginning a project, only interest in having something completed. Discussion should be considered to be for some future implementer to read and think about.

Any assignments to people are not intentional. Just assigned for sake of classification by general product area.
