That works perfectly then!
Yeah, the best will be to have support for databag translation in lektor-i18n ....
If it is any consolation, once the string has been translated in one website, it should be spread to the others automatically, and only needs a review.
add menu strings to make them translatable, as databags are not fully supported by our i18n plugin (see https://github.com/numericube/lektor-i18n-plugin/issues/11).
in this way, the strings stay on the local .po files, and when they are called from the template system, they are translated 'dynamically'.
i added this contents/menu/contents.lr file to other lektors so the strings on databags will translate during build.
it contains the strings at databags/menu_footer.ini
and databags/menu.ini
I don't like that the translation and work would need to be re-done for each repo that uses the menu bag, but I also don't have any better ideas for it haha. It looks good to me!
@kez can you review this MR please?

add Catalan and Hungarian translations
I can merge it as well. Yes, it will be automatically updated once merged.
Looks good to merge. I don't seem to have write access to the git.tpo, so I can't merge it myself. And not sure if this will be automatically updated once merged or we need to manually build the page.
@cohosh do you have rights there? can you merge it? should I ask for rights to the TPA?

Well, I could file a PR, but I am not on top of the development of gettor or Tor Browser in a way that makes it easy, and maybe the document needs to be updated more. I will do pull requests when I am not in doubt.
On top of that, I am going through all the comments the translators do in Transifex, which are not so related to localization as to the source strings, and if I submit a PR for each of them I will never finish.
From my point of view, it would be even better if the teams that have content up for translation go through the comments themselves, as this will eventually result in better strings.
