The format gets completely skewed & some sub-pages won't load at all. i'm not sure if HTTPS Everywhere causes the problem though it does note parenthetically in the rules menu that the site is "buggy." i never had a problem loading this site's pages before i installed https everywhere. i'm not a coder so i don't have a clue how to fix it.
Thanks in advance if you can figure anything out--or offer a way to disable https everywhere for specific sites where it causes problems. i'm running chromium browser on the ubuntu linux platform.https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/applications/https-everywhere-chrome/-/issues/21560modelmayhem.com - "my stuff" page interface broken2022-08-15T22:05:27ZTracmodelmayhem.com - "my stuff" page interface brokenThe partial ruleset for modelmahmem.com causes personal profile pages ("my stuff") to break:

https://secure.modelmayhem.com/mystuff#/inbox
However this breaks the interface for those pages as they seem not to be made to work properly from such URL. The result is: inbox messages and folders get hidden and other interface parameters also don't work as expected.
I have notified MM's admins that they should implement full HTTPS for all pages but who knows when this will happen. Meanwhile it would be good to have a workaround.
I am testing with HTTPS Everywhere 2017.2.13 (can't find this version in the dropdown here, so I am typing it manually).

But, being able to add an exclusion, to avoid having to resort to disabling the ruleset entirely, would be more useful.
Also, an easy way to delete a user rule would be useful too.

It took a fair amount of troubleshooting to discover that it is the HTTPS Everywhere extension that is the cause of this crash. No matter what I did, as long as HTTPS Everywhere was enabled, Silverlight would crash. Whenever I disabled it, Silverlight worked fine, and the Video played.
I hope this can be fixed, or some type of work-around suggested.

https://traffic.outbrain.com fails with "This webpage is not available" and ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH. Originally I believe this was due to Outbrain only accepting TLS 1.2, but [Qualys](https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=traffic.outbrain.com) says that's not true. So I'm not sure exactly what's wrong, but it sure doesn't work.
Outbrain should be removed from the default ruleset until Chrome supports TLS 1.2.https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/applications/https-everywhere-chrome/-/issues/12540www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/interactive/index.html life steam does not load2022-08-15T22:05:08ZTracwww.wimbledon.com/en_GB/interactive/index.html life steam does not loadwww.wimbledon.com/en_GB/interactive/index.html the live steam part does not load when Https Everywhere is active.

Since the latest Adobe Flash patch (the emergency zero-day exploit released on 04FEB14), HTTPS-E has been intermittently causing Shockwave Flash to crash. It does not happen on all webpages; for example, YouTube itself does not seem to have the problem, but YouTube videos embedded in other sites do. Disabling HTTPS-E solves the crashing problem, but I would prefer to still be able to use it :).

I tracked this down...When using HTTPS Everywhere for Chrome I've tracked down some errors with headers not being passed properly. Some of the headers returned from the service actual end up being doubled when HTTPS Everywhere is enabled.
I tracked this down in an application I'm writing that makes CORS HTTP Requests to the Dropbox API. I was seeing "SyntaxError: Unexpected token , " errors similar to this issue: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/5952 but not in relation to Bootcamp. As I dug into the issue it became clear that a header that was supposed to be JSON was malformed.
After inspecting the header through Chrome's Network panel, and then through another proxy (to ensure it wasn't the server sending a double header) it became clear that the server was sending a valid response, but javascript inside of Chrome was seeing a broken response. The headers for the actual request are similar to the following:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: nginx
Date: Sat, 10 Aug 2013 11:26:57 GMT
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ascii
Content-Length: 203
Connection: keep-alive
accept-ranges: bytes
x-dropbox-metadata: {"revision": 7, "rev": "7130446f9", "thumb_exists": false, "bytes": 203, "modified": "Fri, 09 Aug 2013 11:55:51 +0000", "client_mtime": "Fri, 09 Aug 2013 11:54:52 +0000", "path": "/some_file", "is_dir": false, "icon": "page_white", "root": "app_folder", "mime_type": "application/octet-stream", "size": "203 bytes"}
x-server-response-time: 200
etag: 7n
x-dropbox-request-id: 5fcfa0e9c0b1f00039d8901aaaad6738
pragma: public
cache-control: max-age=0
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *
Access-Control-Expose-Headers: Accept-Ranges, Content-Range, X-Dropbox-Metadata, X-Dropbox-Request-Id, X-JSON, X-Server-Response-Time
X-RequestId: f89f279185cc3bcf4c5deeeeaaaeaaaa
The header that I was having problems with is the x-dropbox-metadata header. The value returned from the server was valid, but when javascript called xhr.getResponseHeader('x-dropbox-metadata') or xhr.getAllResponseHeaders() the value for 'x-dropbox-metadata' would be the correct value twice comma separated. So in this case we would see:
{"revision": 7, "rev": "7130446f9", "thumb_exists": false, "bytes": 203, "modified": "Fri, 09 Aug 2013 11:55:51 +0000", "client_mtime": "Fri, 09 Aug 2013 11:54:52 +0000", "path": "/some_file", "is_dir": false, "icon": "page_white", "root": "app_folder", "mime_type": "application/octet-stream", "size": "203 bytes"}, {"revision": 7, "rev": "7130446f9", "thumb_exists": false, "bytes": 203, "modified": "Fri, 09 Aug 2013 11:55:51 +0000", "client_mtime": "Fri, 09 Aug 2013 11:54:52 +0000", "path": "/some_file", "is_dir": false, "icon": "page_white", "root": "app_folder", "mime_type": "application/octet-stream", "size": "203 bytes"}
This caused a syntax error when parsing this value as JSON which is the symptom I mentioned at the start.
This problem reproduces every time for me, until I disable https everywhere. I tried disabling each of my plugins one at a time, and found that HTTPS Everywhere reliably causes this problem.

An example: https://nylen.tv/test should redirect to https://nylen.tv/test/ but it doesn't. The server is sending the Location header properly, but Chrome does not follow it and shows the 301 page instead. (The username for that URL is `test` and the password is `testing`).
