If one goes to https://www.google.ca/ There is a link to set the language for that search to French.  It points to: http://www.google.ca/setprefs?sig=0_VGU9XptdHS-3T_Vh7N8Y6oZGXLI=&hl=en But if the user clicks it, they will be bounced to the https://encrypted.google.com homepage.  Should try sending http://google.ccltd/setprefs to the equivalent url in HTTPS instead?
