Clean up workarounds for old Go versions

They seem to not be needed anymore, especially CGO_ENABLED=1 https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/applications/tor-browser-build/-/blob/b484354a5d3920af9b5b5e068637e8c6174a9d85/projects/go/build#L37-44

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
