When trying to make an account in GitBook it always redirects back to the signup page

Try to make an account here https://www.gitbook.com/join but it will always redirect you back to https://www.gitbook.com/join when you click on Create an account

Looking at the console one sees:

x PJAX error:  <unavailable>                                 vendor.js:23
x redirect to /join                                          vendor.js:23

Not sure if this is a bug with TB.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
