Tor no longer accessible

I am not a tech person so I can only provide basic info. I was using the browser just fine until yesterday afternoon - July 28 - after that when I attempted to open it I always received the message that I could not as it was already open - which it wasn't. I ended up deleting Tor and attempted to start with a fresh download - that was a no go.

In restarting my computer today I got a message that there was some unauthorized access that was stopped by Windows Defender. In checking out Defender I found that if I granted app access for Tor I could get it to download and reinstall. However I still cannot use it - Whenever I try to start it I get the message "Tor unexpectedly exited" - and with the message to send a copy of the log - but when I click the button to copy Tor log to clipboard - nothing happens.

I'm running Windows 10
