Making Camera work in in order to enable QR-code scanning
I'm a contributor of Specter-Desktop, a project which just recently got mentioned as one of the 21 most influential bitcoin projects in 2020 by the bitcoin-magazine. Out project makes use of Tor by exposing our App as a tor-hidden-service. As part of our "send-bitcoin" workflow, we'd love to apply our (for security reasons) default airgapped QR-based hardware-wallet signing process. For that, we need to be able to display QR-codes but also activate the camera so that the app can read a QR-code via the camera from the hardware-device.
Here you can see the workflow with a "Cobo-Vault" (without tor): https://twitter.com/StepanSnigirev/status/1279727784777089024
However the camera is not working via the tor-browser. We're tracking the issue here: https://github.com/cryptoadvance/specter-desktop/issues/536
and i've created a small project to reproduce the issue here: https://github.com/k9ert/camera-tor
How can this issue be qualified? Is it a bug, a not yet implemented feature? Not implemented by design? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
