Absolutely broken UI, after update

Hello. The new UI / X (on Debian 10) is completely unusable after the update, thats crazy.

This problem seems to be a LOT of missing browser CSS. The browser's chrome area is just being displayed using the default font and default layout of the tags used.

not in my case. I get the problem, even in private browsing mode. However, in private browsing mode, I need to navigate to a page with a large icon, so the tabs bar (or how it's called) grows vertically. Right now, as a workaround, I downgraded to 10.5.10

Accurate definition of bug: If I tick > In private settings > don't remember the history > UI is all right.

BUT If

I use MASTER PASWORD ie I need enable history for this

history has nothing to do with passwords

sorry, you mean PB mode (which clears "history", not "history" itself

Manjaro (Cinnamon) also has some funky UI changes after updating to Tor Browser version 11;

Address/URL bar consumes more vertical space than necessary

Typing an address/search query causes window to re-paint/re-size

Site favicon are allowed to take as much space as they want to

When window is not full screen the address/URL bar overflows into plugin/addon section.

Address/URL bar cannot be removed, so replacing with a "Search" toolbar is not a viable option.

Thanks for reporting @agiteg and @S0AndS0! This looks like a duplicate of #40690 (closed), so I'm going to tentatively close this ticket for now (however I've linked to it in the main ticket for reference).

@brunoais I'm not sure what's causing the tall tabs issue, but I've seen similar reports elsewhere. It may need split out into a separate ticket.
