Tor Browser for Android 11.0.8 crashing to appscreen on open

Summary

Tor Browser for Android 11.0.8 (96.3.0-Release) is crashing to the appscreen on start, staying open in the background but preventing use. This behavior also happens on the Alpha 11.0.8 (96.3.0-Release), however it isn't happening on the last release 11.0.6 (94.1.1-Release). Note that I'm using an AOSP based image, so I'm unsure if a regular Android with gapps would have the same issue.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download Tor Browser Android 11.0.8 (96.3.0-Release)
2. Try to launch the app
3. The app opens but almost immediately crashes to the appscreen. Its still open in the background but will crash to the appscreen whenever you try to open it.

What is the current bug behavior?

Crashes to the appscreen (apptray) within a second or two of opening.

What is the expected behavior?

Open and maintain a stable window to use the browser.

Environment

AOSP based Android (4.14.141+ kernel, no gapps) **Which installation method did you use? Installed from F-Droid
