can't get a bridge in TBB 11.0.11

Summary

Somehow, the CAPTCHA never shows up in the bridge display.

Steps to reproduce:

1. have a Debian GNU/Linux workstation running for years and eventually upgrade it to Debian 11 bullseye
2. apt install torbrowser-launcher
3. launch torbrowser-launcher
4. go into settings -> Tor
5. "use a bridge" then "ask for a bridge from torproject.org" or whatever that thing is called in english (it's "Demander un pont à torproject.org" in french)

What is the current bug behavior?

Nothing: a blank popup comes up and I don't get a bridge.

What is the expected behavior?

I get a bridge. Apparently, I also have to solve a CAPTCHA.
