Tor Browser 13.5a3 crashes during start-up because of API26+ methods

I am using the Tor Browser alpha series on my work phone via F-Droid and up to (and including) 13.5a2 everything was fine. After updating to 13.5a3 it just crashes even before reaching the screen with the Connect button.

This is on a Samsung Galaxy S5 mini.
