Follow upstream bug 1778684 for changes to unified extension button

As part of #41581 (closed) we added an option to hide the extension button.

Bugzilla bug 1778684 has since been updated indicating a similar thing might be implemented upstream. We should check this again at the next ESR (the one after 128, which we don't have a label for yet).
