Tor Browser crashes on OOM rather than killing some content processes

Tor Browser crashes when the system is low in memory (by for example opening different tabs with different websites). It seems that this behavior is not consistent with Firefox, which does not crash in those conditions but rather kills some content processes which results in some crashed tabs rather than the entire browser crashing. I'm not sure from where this difference stems from.

Platform: Debian 12.
