Description

tap-strip is a whole new feature that we just disabled in !1538 (3844d870)

the obvious effect was it overrides traditional url bar position settings and pins to the top so we disabled as a regression.

how ever as mozilla launchers it in 140 shortly, users might start using it and want it in tba? so we should actually review it, what it does, and try to figure out what we actually want to do with it. UX said to start here with the dev team and probably once we have a better report on what it does they can be engaged for any UX decisions if needed.
