A user on the forum has pointed out that [Recommendations from Firefox](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recommendations-firefox?as=u&utm_source=inproduct&redirectslug=better-recommendations-firefox&redirectlocale=en-US) appears enabled by default within `about:preferences#general`:  I haven't actually seen an example of a recommendation in TB11 yet, so I'm not sure if these are already deactivated at a higher level?
