Tor activities at 38c3 / CCC 2024

38c3 will happen again this year, Dec 27-30 2024 in Hamburg Congress Center.

There will likely be a relay operator meetup again (last time organized by @leibi), and it would be great to have some Tor community / network / network health people there (cc @gus, @ahf).

I am considering not going this year, since my parents are each moving out of their house this year, and I may need to help them do that over the holidays.

In terms of a talk to submit, last year I did the Tor censorship Russian Iran Turkmenistan one, which went great and was well received, and part of their feedback was to get some other speakers up on the stage. Let's try to do that.

One option, if @hiro is interested, would be to get hiro to do a refreshed version of her Defcon talk, and then get somebody else to pick up my fraction of it. I feel like my part of that talk is general enough that geko or ahf or ggus or heck even hiro could pick it up without that much work.

Another option, is this the year that the network team or the browser team wants to do a talk?

I am starting the ticket early because we need to find a speaker if we want to have one.
