Project 'tpo/core/onionbalance' was moved to 'tpo/onion-services/onionbalance'. Please update any links and bookmarks that may still have the old path.
Move this repository to the GitLab group Onion Services
@gus I'm alright with doing that, but the project is sort of without a maintainer right now, so if something comes in, who will catch it over in the Onion Services group?
@rhatto Are you okay with me moving this ticket assignment to you and you can pick it up whenever you have time? Right now it's assigned to me and I keep ignoring it.
As I said earlier, I'm still not familiar with the codebase, but plan to dig deeper as part of the Oniongroove roadmap.
In the meanwhile, I could act as some sort of maintainer-manager (making sure the issue queue is updated, asking for help to review merge requests etc).
2. It makes more sense to keep it on tpo/core or at tpo/onion-services?
I don't have a very strong opinion about this. Maybe it depends more on whether we want to keep specific Onion Services software under the same umbrella, and then it would make sense to move the repository.
Hello all. For some additional context, people have been submitting easy PRs in https://github.com/asn-d6/onionbalance and I've been merging them (two so far). AFAIK, there is no way to disable PRs in github, so I can't stop them from coming. Also, this gitlab repo is not mirroring the GH repo, so the gitlab repo is behind right now.
Would you like me to transfer the onionbalance GH repo to someone else, or to the torproject organization?
Hi @asn! Hope you are doing well. Please transfer the onionblanace github repo to torproject. Thanks! @lavamind : can you do the mirroring you were doing for all the other GH repos?
ok. Transfer it to gabelula in github. I can move it to the right organization. The one we are using for mirroring is https://github.com/thetorproject/
Thanks! Where did you do the transfer to? I still see the repo in https://github.com/asn-d6/onionbalance and do not find it in the orgs or in the gabelula user.
I will change the membership in https://github.com/torproject/ so you can move your project there. Sorry for the confusion. @lavamind clarified it. I will update the description on the org so it is clear.
