In the meanwhile, @gk, @ahf should we use the Merge button and remember to update to git.tpo?
I think we could have a server hook, but maybe no worth if we'll get rid of git.tpo anyway...

We cannot use the merge-button if we do the automatic sync from git.torproject.org to Gitlab. See tpo/tpa/gitlab#36 (moved) before we can do that :-/
Once the sysadmin team is ready to do migration, including updating old references and such, then moving everything to Gitlab will be ready.
Oh, I hoped it would be the other way around :)
Hmm, if the sync is being done already for sbws and we use the merge button, i think what would happen is nothing, ie. that Gitlab git will say
Everything up-to-date
and git.tpo will just stay without last commits, is that correct?Maybe that already happened with #33871 (closed)

Well, yes, we could use the Merge button. I usually prefer the command line, though. We should just not forget to merge
maint-1.1
intomaster
afterwards. For the hook, yes, we could have it but maybe not worth it.
