Set up a detection and notification system of anomalies in Tor and bridge usage
As we're trying to understand what's happening in the Tor network, having a notification system of Tor usage (when it's increasing or decreasing) worldwide would be very important. This data is meaningful for the Tor Community. We want to tell people what's the best way to use Tor to circumvent censorship in their country or even to call the attention of others when something unique is happening.
Since the beginning of this year, I have been using infolabe-anomalies emails to daily check what's up. But sometimes, their algorithm fails and doesn't detect massive usage (for example, this week in NL).
Can we discuss how we can implement such notification system?
