1) Administrivia
– Approval of April 8, 2020 minutes: Julius moved, Biella seconded the motion. All voted in favour.
– Cindy and Biella agreed to talk to potential new board member.
2) Finances
– Isabela went over fund raising strategy, cash flow, budget, grants and membership program
– Isabela discussed live events.
– Cindy moved to approve the budget as presented in the document of July 2, Biella seconded, every one voted in favor.
RESOLVED: Board approved the budget for 2020-2021
– Isabela salary reinstatement. When salaries were cut last year, Isabela took an additional pay cut: so she was paid 90,0000 instead of the proposed 100,000 (her salary had been 150,000). We voted to reinstate it to 100,000, which is still below the salary when hired and do so retroactively to May 1st, 2020. Biella moved the motion to reinstate her salary to 100,000, Bruce seconded and all voted in favor.
RESOLVED: Isabela's salary reinstatement to $100,000 was approved and was retroactive to May 1, 2020.
