## Overview
The Fundraising team is responsible for raising funds from individual donors, foundations, corporations, governments, and other entities who are interested in financially supporting the Tor Project and our work to bring privacy to everyone online. We are also responsible for stewarding these funds and engaging with our supporters.
We work on things like the Tor Project’s annual year-end campaign, grant proposals, individual outreach to donors, and making sure everybody who makes a gift to the Tor Project knows how important they are to the fight for internet freedom and privacy online.
