Website mirroring
It appears our website is mirrored to a few different domain names, I know we are already doing it with calyx, and some others (but I dont know which), as a way to get around the website being blocked in some countries, based on the domain name (where the mirrored domains are not blocked).
The deflect.ca people have a new service to mirror websites, they have offered it to us. We could easily mirror our website, forums or anything else we want. The process is relatively simple, we create an account, we contact deflect to ask them to enable it for us (they offered it to @meskio at Splintercon, and he has the contact information), and we give them a domain name for the mirror.
To be clear, its not about moving torproject.org websites to deflect.ca, which is a service they have offered for a long time, this is a different and new iteration on what they provide. We would be using a different domain name to mirror our website, so it can be accessible in censored areas where they block our main domain.
@gus are you the person who has been handling those mirrors? I'm not sure how well our current mirror setup works, do you think it would be a good idea to add another one, if so do you have ideas of how to do the domain name?
