gnt-dal is saturating its gigabit uplink

I was walking down the grafana street tonight and i noticed this:

yep yep, you're reading this right, we're saturating the gigabit there. in fact, we're going above 1gbit on aggregation sometimes which is puzzling because I thought we had only a 1gbit uplink there. maybe the switch has a 10g uplink?

in any case, we need to check this out, because we don't want to saturate. that would be "really fucking bad" (technical term, sorry).
