Decide what to do with the "Choose a bridge for me" button in Connection settings

Spin off from tpo/applications/tor-browser#42036 (comment 2974796).

Context

When "about:torconnect" has failed to perform a regular Bootstrap we show in "about:preferences#connection" the location selector and a "Choose a Bridge for me..." button to open "about:preferences" and trigger "Auto-Bootstrapping". Once connected to tor, it won't show again.

Opportunity statement

We should remind the user in the Connection settings that the previous attempt to connect to the Tor network without bridges failed. However, since the user has already seen Connection Assist at about:torconnect, we should remove it from Connection settings, adding a link to the Assist instead.

Scope

  • Remove Connection Assist from Connection settings;
  • Add a warning about the connection failure, which offers ways to configure bridges, including a link back to Connection Assist.
  • If the user tried connecting with bridges but failed, change the first sentence in the warning to: "Tor Browser could not connect to the Tor network using your current bridges".
